Terri Clark

A couple from Terri's latest.  The first is a remake of a Trooper song, 'Here for a Good Time'.  She did well to keep it in the grain of the original but still put her own spin on it.

Our second selection is one that reminds me a whole lot of ALL the northern girls out there.  Pretty much hits the nail on the head.  Northern Girl.

Pretty darn fine.  This is her first release since the death of her mother to cancer last year.  She said that there are some songs on the album that she really has a hard time performing live.  They relate to the hurting and healing process that she's gone through and she can't look at the audience while she's singing them; she'll have a meltdown.
BTW Happy 40th Terri!

  4. Being the 'Old Rocker' that you are Buck, that doesn't surprise me. I think you probably might have heard it in the late '70s or '80s
And no, that's not a slam about your age.

  5. I love Terri Clark. Is she only 40?

I don't mean that in a bad way, it just seemed to me like she should be closer to my age than that. Seems she's been around forever.

    Like me.
